Online bidding was so much fun with the holiday art auction, that we're auctioning off one fantastic item from one Mission Farms retailer each month!  Proceeds from the auctions will go to children's charities in the metro area. 

First up, a beautiful hand-made buffalo necklace donated by Noel's Fine Gifts.  18" chain link style, this gorgeous piece retails for $290.  Starting minimum bid is $145.

A beginner's guide to heart healthy cooking sponsored by St. Joseph Medical Center and Mission Farms.  February 23, cooking demonstration by Carlos Perez from Avenues Bistro and presentation from Dr. Marco Mazzella, from St. Joseph Medical Center.  6:30-8pm, Admission is free, but must RSVP by calling (816)943-2584.  Space is limited.

FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS= DISCOUNTS

Through the month of February, 5 cans = discounts at participating shops and restaurants. Bring in your canned goods (vegetables needed, but not green beans), drop them in the barrels and receive a special discount at that location. Also enter to win a $100 Mission Farms gift card.
